What is Wavestack?
Wavestack is a sovereign cloud based on OpenStack from Wavecon GmbH – a 100% subsidiary of noris network AG.
Wavestack fulfills the SCS standards and offers maximum security
The implementation according to the standards of the Souvereign Cloud Stack meets all software and licensing criteria of the minimum requirements for the use of cloud offerings by the public sector, which were published under the auspices of the Open Source Business Alliance e. V. at the beginning of September 2022.
At the same time, Wavestack is designed for high security requirements. This is supported by the corresponding architecture, open development processes and the provision of operational knowledge in the BSI certification according to IT-Grundschutz.

What is special about Wavestack compared to other solutions?
Wavestack uses the Sovereign Cloud Stack (SCS) and is therefore part of a network of standardized sovereign clouds. The goal is to jointly drive the definition, implementation and operation of a fully open, federated and interoperable platform.
