More than 5500 customers worldwide rely on F24’s digital solutions, which support companies and organizations in any scenario where resilience is of the essence. The solutions cover the areas of business messaging, service notifications, mass alerting, incident and crisis management, as well as governance, risk, and
compliance (GRC).

Challenge

Every second counts for customers of the “FACT24” alerting and crisis management solution from Munich-based F24 AG. To ensure that the strict service level agreements can be met, F24 has partnered with the data center and IT service provider noris network as part of an IT migration. These are the key project criteria: Geo-redundancy with extremely low latencies, a particularly high level of certification, and collaboration on an equal footing. Moreover, due to the large amount of sensitive data in the FACT24 system, data protection and data security were, of course, imperative as well.

Solution

F24 guarantees its customers 99.99 % availability for its software-as-a-service solution FACT24. The company, which was founded in 2000, has been using a highperformance data center from noris network for some time now, which also boasts top-tier availability. This is made possible, among other things, by the geo-redundant operation between the data center locations in Nuremberg and Munich. Moreover, noris network has certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001, IT-Grundschutz (IT baseline protection), and the BSI C5 certificate that attest to the high quality and reliability of its systems. As a result, F24 is able to demonstrate its capabilities to customers.

Project Success

noris network designed the requirements according to F24’s needs and has since provided the F24 infrastructure in a dedicated private cloud. The advantage: The F24 systems operate completely independently of those of other noris network customers. Thanks to georedundancy, F24 is furthermore guaranteed that the systems can continue to operate even in the event of maintenance work or disasters. If the active computer center fails, the other one at the remote location takes over seamlessly. In addition, F24 gained first-class support right down to the VMware infrastructure.
