More than 10,000 tax firms, accountants and companies from all over Germany now work successfully with Agenda software.
Challenge
If a company’s area of responsibility includes the processing of its customers’ confidential data – such as accountants, tax consultants or HR departments – then a special level of data security is required. After all, in the event of a security incident, it is not only the company’s own data that is at risk, but also the information of those who rely on the highest level of confidentiality. The tax consultant software company Agenda Informationssysteme GmbH was therefore looking for a way to make the Internet absolutely secure for its customers – without restricting work efficiency.
Solution
AGENDAnet is being developed with noris network AG as the technical service provider: all customer Internet data traffic is protected by noris network’s proven high security standards and reliable services. A status-based, redundant firewall and an upstream web proxy filter system ensure automatic protection. Qualified noris network personnel monitor and update the security precautions and continuously maintain the infrastructure provided.
Project success
AGENDAnet customers only need an additional box between their existing DSL connection and their own computers. Dangers from outside – such as viruses, spam or hacker attacks – are blocked just as efficiently as possible misuse by the company’s own employees. No additional installation work or regular maintenance of virus filters or security updates is required by the user. This is because all data traffic now flows optimally protected via the high-security data centres of the Nuremberg-based IT specialist noris network.
