Since 2008, Schmetterling has outsourced the complete hosting and operation of its own IT infrastructure (web, mail and application servers, databases and storage systems) to noris network. This enables the IT specialists of the travel agency cooperation to fully focus on the development of the company’s own applications and portfolio. The IT systems of Schmetterling are redundantly hosted in two noris network-owned high-security data centers and operated according to the ITIL standard and on the basis of a security concept in accordance with ISO / IEC 27001:2005. This environment also deploys a Unified Threat Management security system and advanced virtualization technologies to optimally protect the hardware pool.
