The solution for KRITIS operators Fit for the IT-Security Act 2.0
From 2023, KRITIS operators must detect and document incidents and cyber attacks in their ongoing operations in order to comply with reporting obligations to the BSI. By using processes and different technologies, we guarantee complete protection for your systems.
How do our IT security products work together?
- Security Operations Center (SOC): Consisting of a team of IT security experts who manage the messages from your IT security systems (e.g. honeypot, IAM, PAM and SIEM) centrally via a SIEM. Security threats are detected proactively and measures to eliminate them are initiated. The SOC has a complete overview of the security events of all submitting systems.
- Security Information and Event-Management (SIEM): The SIEM is used to collect security events, i.e. security-relevant information and data from your systems. Automated alerting enables prompt responses to security incidents. All incidents are recorded and evaluated by our SOC team.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): IAM is used to centrally manage access rights to systems and applications. This ensures that processes are in place at all times to regulate who needs and receives certain rights on which system.
- Privileged Access Management (PAM): With PAM, the access rights for administrators and other privileged users are defined and limited to what is necessary for operation. This protects your infrastructure from unauthorized and unapproved access from the inside.
- Intrusion Detection (IDS) /Intrusion Prevention (IPS): IDS systems monitor and detect the data traffic of your systems, e.g. exploit attempts are alerted in real time. With IPS systems, the protection goes even further, as they prevent the attack immediately, for example by dropping packets or closing sessions.
- Honeypot: Attackers are lured and deceived by simulated IT systems using a honeypot. Attack patterns are thus recognized and countermeasures can be initiated more quickly to provide additional external protection for productive systems.
