The first colocation data center in Germany with TÜViT TSI Level 4!
As the first colocation data center in Germany and one of only a few data centers worldwide, the new data center section in Nuremberg South (CP2) has been certified by TÜViT according to TSI Level 4 and DIN EN 50600. This quality level stands for very high protection requirements and maximum availability. In addition, we are the first IT provider to offer a certified energy-efficient Level 4 data center as a colocation service. Customers with increased protection requirements, such as banks, insurance companies or KRITIS organizations, receive evidence through our certification that they can achieve the security and high availability they require.
A systematic review of the submitted plans and documents as well as extensive on-site inspections determine whether the defined Level 4 requirements for the data center comply with the current TSI.STANDARD.
Particularly high safety requirements:
- Exterior doors with resistance class of at least RC3
- Interior doors according to RC2
- Truck lock
- F90 walls (separate fire rooms/sections)
- Fire monitoring in all plant rooms
- Monitoring of outside air for smoke (Kyoto)
- Each door must be monitored with camera
- USV and NSHV in different rooms
- Two separate manufacturers for UPS and battery
- MSHV supply via two stabs to substations
- Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and low voltage main distribution (LVMSHV) cooling is redundant
- Higher requirements for the intrusion detection system
