In mid-2017, the highly modern data center was opened in Munich Aschheim. The high security data center has already been awarded the German Data Center Award. This was awarded in 2016 in the category “Newly built energy- and resource-efficient data centers”.
Thus, our new data center is the best prerequisite for a highly secure and available housing of your IT in Munich! In addition to this, noris network also calls its own data centers in Munich and Nuremberg. Thanks to their direct connection to the noris’s own backbone, maximum redundancy can be offered.

One of the 10 largest data centers in Germany
With a total area of 11,000 square meters and an IT area of 8700 square meters, our data center in Munich East is now one of the 10 largest data centers in Germany after the expansion in 2019. In MUC5, more servers per area are possible with 60 U rack. In addition, our modern Kyoto-Cooling technology cools in an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient manner, which decreases 70% energy consumption for cooling and operation.
