Who are we?
Back at the time of our founding in 1993, we were the first Internet service provider in northern Bavaria making us a pioneer. We have been living up to this pioneering role for 30 years – more in our History. With now more than 450 colleagues, we offer our customers IT services in various areas.
As an owner-managed, unlisted stock corporation, we are not interested in short-term profit, but in sustainable success. With continuous and above all almost exclusively organic growth, we are proud to be able to report annual sales of over 100 million. Since 1993, owner-managed, we have worked in a personally committed, team-oriented, partnership-based, reliable and always flexible manner to provide you with the right answers to your IT challenges.

norisgr – M.I.K.E. – since 2016
In 2016, norisgr – M.I.K.E was founded as a 100% subsidiary of noris. M.I.K.E. supports the teams of noris in internal operating and software development for internal and external projects.

Cloud Mates – since 2022
The acquisition of Cloud Mates opens up new potential for noris network in the use of the public cloud. Cloud Mates supports customers on their way to the public cloud and operates their infrastructure on AWS. At the same time, both help each other in the development of new industry and hybrid solutions. In addition, Cloud Mates strengthens noris network’s strategic initiative “Future Cloud Services”.

Wavecon – since 2021
Further noris expanded its cloud competencies in March 2021 and acquired Wavecon GmbH, based in Fürth. The Wavecon team consists of experienced specialists with a focus on open source technology, self-service and public cloud solutions.

Cloudelligence – since 2019
Cloudelligence offers expertise for innovation projects in the cloud from infrastructure to software development. Smooth automation and scalable software in amazon web services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform are at the forefront.

Netplace – since 2019
noris network has acquired Munich-based Netplace Telematic GmbH since January 2019. As a result, noris gains further experienced IT experts for the areas of web application security and content delivery networks. The core competence remains in IT outsourcing.

Proturity – since 2022
Proturity is a consulting firm that helps its clients to rethink and transform their processes into the digital world. They support international clients with appropriate strategic advice, in-depth expertise and innovative technological know-how.

unnovIT – since 2024
noris network strengthens its position as a full-service IT provider with the acquisition of innovIT GmbH and expands its ability to offer customer oriented and flexible IT infrastructure solutions. unnovIT extends noris network’s portfolio and enables demand oriented and situational provision of modular data center space at the customer’s site.

Real commitment can be seen in the detail: For us, it’s important that we use reusable systems and local sourcing for the drinks available in the office. In large-scale projects too, such as our data center expansions in Aschheim and Nuremberg, we are also working to conserve resources and, from the early planning stages, we have been making every effort to ensure structures and cooling systems are as energy-efficient as possible.
We don’t believe in growth at any price; instead, we strive for healthy business growth. It helps, in this respect, that all shares in noris network AG are still exclusively held by the company founders, so we don’t have to fixate on short-term profit objectives dictated by the capital markets.
